Pearl’s three starting scopes
Pearl organizes bathroom remodeling into three starting tiers so the budget can follow the work your room actually needs. An Essential refresh typically falls between $8,000 and $12,000. This is a focused update for a room that can keep its basic footprint while receiving meaningful finish and fixture improvements.
A Standard remodel typically falls between $12,000 and $18,000 and is Pearl’s most popular scope. It can include a more complete tile, fixture, storage, and finish update, with the average project around $18,000. A Premium transformation generally falls between $18,000 and $30,000 or more when the room needs elevated materials or a more involved redesign.
What changes the final estimate?
The existing room matters as much as its size. Pearl looks at the footprint, plumbing, wall conditions, waterproofing, ventilation, tile layout, fixtures, glass, storage, and finish selections before recommending a scope. Older Seattle-area homes may need more preparation when dated tile or fiberglass surrounds come out.
A focused tub-to-shower conversion can land differently from a primary bathroom redesign even when the rooms are similar in size. The free in-home design consultation gives you a chance to discuss priorities and receive an estimate based on the actual conditions rather than a vague online average.
How to prepare for a useful budget conversation
Bring a short list of what is not working, what you use every day, and what you do not want to change. It helps to decide whether your first priority is easier entry, better storage, new tile, improved ventilation, or a broader layout change. Pearl can then explain which improvements belong together and which can wait.
Financing may be available as low as $230 per month, with 0% interest for 12 months on approved credit through available programs. Ask Pearl for current program details during the consultation because approval, terms, and availability vary.
